Setup
Feeder at the net with a full box; player at base.
Step by step
- Feeder hand- or racket-feeds to all six corners in a set or random order.
- Player plays a shot appropriate to each corner and recovers.
- Feeder keeps the pace demanding but sustainable.
- Record shuttles completed per set if you want to track it.
Success criteria
All shuttles reached with balanced shots; technique holds.
Common mistakes
- Feeding too fast (player flails)
- Done on top of a hard match day
Easier version
Not as conditioning: 6–8 shuttles to two corners with full rest.
Advanced version
20–25 shuttles, random order.
Progression
More shuttles or faster pace, but only if technique holds.
Safety
- Demanding: avoid after an already hard court session.
- Stop if you feel sharp pain, dizziness, chest pain or unusual breathlessness.
